Ascent: Empowering Women on their Career Journey – Navigating the Rapids : Balancing Work and Life

Women in Rail Scotland is delighted to invite you to attend a very special event hosted and sponsored by Edinburgh Trams.
This is the second event in our ‘Ascent’ series on empowering women on their career journey and this session focuses on the second phase (30s) ‘The Culture Shock’ – Navigating the Rapids: Balancing Work and Life’ and looks at how to successfully navigate the challenges of combining a personal life with a fulfilling rail career.
The event will include:
• Welcome from Lorna Gibson, Chair, and the Women in Rail Steering Group
• Panel discussion on the culture shock experienced by women in their 30s and the challenges of the balancing act between personal and professional life.
