Networking Nirvana: Chat, charm and circulate your way to the sorts of opportunities most others miss

Women in Rail hosted another entertaining afternoon of networking skills coaching and cocktail making on Tuesday 23^rd June at the offices of Stephenson Harwood. Experienced confidence and communication expert, Seán Brickell, took us through the ‘how-to’ of networking.

It was a real confidence booster and we learnt how to join groups of people during networking events, and perhaps more importantly, how to follow through from a productive conversation.

Following Seán’s ‘networking challenge’ we were introduced to the history of punch by London cocktail connoisseur, Missy Flynn. In an event wrap up, all of our new skills were put to the test as we got into groups to design our own delicious cocktails from a seasonal array of fresh, fruity ingredients. It was a fantastic event and the feedback received from attendees has been amazing.
