Tour of Northern Rail’s Newton Heath Train Care Centre
Women in Rail North West and Northern Trains invite you to tour Newton Heath Train Care Centre. Have you ever wondered what goes on in a train care centre? This half-day visit to the Train Care Centre will help to answer this question on a guided walking tour visiting several locations within the centre, including two maintenance sheds, followed by a Q&A / Networking session. This is an opportunity to experience a working operational environment and speak with those who work there to find out more. *Please note: PPE equipment is required for part of the tour (Safety Boots, Hi-Vis Vest, Safety Glasses, Bump Caps) – this will be provided if necessary. During this event, some time will be spent outdoors – please dress appropriately for the activity and weather conditions.* |
Please register before 20 September 2023, to secure your place!
Please note that there are only 10 spaces and these will be allocated at random.
If you are allocated a space, this will be confirmed by email, no later than 25 September and you must confirm your attendance by 5pm Friday 29 September.
