What Do You Need To Know? | Panel Discussion
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues are of increasing importance to many sectors, including the transportation industry.
As this trend continues to move forward, ESG considerations are modifying corporations’ operations through a greater focus on sustainability. The rail industry in particular can implement ESG-focused strategies to resolve important issues impacting the sector in the areas of biodiversity, circular economy and climate change adaptation.
Hosted with Women in Rail and the Rail Safety and Dentons, we invite you to a panel discussion which outlines the ESG legal issues in the rail industry, including an in-depth analysis of the Sustainable Rail Strategy. We will also explore The Department of Work and Pensions’ Disability Confident Employer Scheme, which looks at the economic and business cases for participation, including disabled and neurodiverse employees, and employees with carer responsibilities.
Speakers
Helen Bowdren, ESG Partner, Dentons
Angela Cruickshanks, Sustainable Rail Solutions Lead, Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB)
Laura Phoenix, Senior Legal Counsel, Alstom
Bookings are open for WR London members only.
