York Walk

The aim of this event is to bring members together for a friendly walk along a disused railway line.

We will take in some of the history of the railway including how it was constructed looking at the embankments, cuttings, bridges and retaining walls. The walk will be along about a mile of cycle path which is fully accessible and children, dogs, and families are more than welcome.  We will take a break on the way back to visit the Heworth Inn for refreshments and chat.
