Women in Rail Yorkshire invites you to join the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Volunteering day.

Crest Ditch Maintenance: The activity will be to clear out a ditch at the top of a cutting slope, including clearing vegetation, blockages or silted up sections.  This activity is carried out at the start of winter every two years as part of the standard maintenance activity in order to effectively divert surface water from the cutting face.

Timings to be confirmed but likely to be:

08.00 Meet at Haworth Station, BD22 8NJ

Transport arranged by KWVR from Haworth Station to site of work, lunch break to be confirmed
