Sharing a passion for engineering, with photos of ordinary women doing their regular, day-to-day work in engineering, Women in Rail is celebrating International Women in Engineering Day. The event is ran in conjunction with SLC Rail and Ford and Stanley.

Engineering is a career that so many people love and thrive in, irrespective of gender. With the Picture Imperfect photo competition and event, we want to share that message widely, with photos of ordinary women doing their regular, day-to-day work.

We aren’t looking for photos of perfect people in perfect poses. Engineering isn’t like that. Whatever you enjoy or are proud of in your day to day work, please share that with a photo!

The best pictures will be selected by a panel of engineering professionals and displayed at the Picture Imperfect event in Birmingham on Thursday 20th June.

How to enter:

Please send us photos of you at work in engineering. They can be taken by you or a colleague. If you have previously posted them online or on social media, that’s fine, and you can submit as many photos as you like!   The e-mail address to send them to is Jessica.jones@fordandstanley.com, please submit them before 13th June.

Places are limited for this event so please register below to attend.
