Women in Rail (WR) invites applications from experienced leaders with strategic expertise to join us as a Trustee.

 

About the Role

As a Trustee, you will have the opportunity to help guide WR’s efforts to promote diversity in the rail industry. Your strategic experience will be invaluable in supporting women in the sector and engaging with key stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

– Attend and contribute to monthly Trustee meetings.

– Share and promote Women in Rail’s initiatives with your colleagues and networks.

– Work with fellow Trustees to achieve our goals and maintain effective governance.

– Represent Women in Rail at industry events and connect with stakeholders.

 

Who Should Apply

We are looking for individuals who:

– Have experience in strategic leadership, does not need to be at the C-suite level.

– Are comfortable speaking at events and managing relationships.

– Have a strong network and the ability to build and maintain key connections.

 

Timeline

– Application Deadline: 17:00 8 September 2024

– Interviews: Scheduled for early autumn.
