SLC is pleased to be hosting this special event at its headquarters in Brindleyplace.
Booking for this event has now closed.

SLC’s Generation Rail event is aimed at demonstrating how age diversity can drive innovation and problem-solving in rail projects. Attendees from different age groups will come together to share perspectives and explore solutions to a rail industry challenge.

On the day, each attendee will be encouraged to select the generation they feel best represents them.

Such as:
• Baby Boomers: Born 1946–1964
• Generation X: Born 1965–1979
• Millennials: Born 1980–1994
• Generation Z: Born 1995–2012

Activities: We will have some fun quizzes plus a rail problem to solve, aimed at understanding our unique perspectives and commonalities

Speakers for the Panel: These speakers will serve as the panel during the Presentations and Panel Discussion portion of the event. Representing different ages, they will evaluate the solutions presented by the participant groups and guide the discussion on how generational collaboration enhances innovation in the rail industry. The panel will highlight key insights, discuss the benefits of diversity in teamwork, and address the concept of reverse mentoring.
