Workshop 4: Stop Fraud! You Found me OUT – I am an Imposter! – 20 June 2018

During this interactive mini-workshop, we will explore the self-limiting feelings of being inadequate, under qualified and fraudulent, many of us experience in our working life despite evidence to the contrary. It is the so-called Impostor Phenomenon, which affects men and women, but particularly women.

This session will present research the prevalence of the Impostor Syndrome especially in STEM sectors and explore ways to deal with it.

Emma will also introduce a few other ‘designer labels’, often experienced by women and men such as the Tiara Effect and Goldilocks Syndrome.

You will learn some coping and confidence techniques to banish your own imposters!
