On Thursday 13th November, Women in Rail held its first Mentoring Information Evening.

The evening was attended by circa 12 mentors and 14 mentees and comprised presentations by Tinu Cornish, Chartered and Registered Organisational Psychologist (tinu@coachforchange.co.uk) and David MacKinnon (Angel Trains) on how best to approach the mentoring relationship from a mentor and mentee perspective. The evening also included an interactive session (or “speed matching”) between mentors and mentees which was tremendously well received.

There was a tremendous amount of energy in the room and the evening was a success.

We are planning to repeat this event  in Derby  provided there is sufficient demand from mentors and mentees so if you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible.
