Women in Rail West Midlands extend an open invitation to an evening of fun and informal networking over Zoom. There will be the obligatory Christmas Quiz hosted by our willing volunteer Julia Whittaker from The Big Solution in Birmingham together with (non-mandatory!) fancy dress competitions for you, your family and pets! It’s a slightly unusual “Bring a Bottle from your own kitchen” online party – mocktails, cocktails…. whatever you fancy and the bonus is no taxi required later!
We will be fundraising for St Basils charity who help 500 young people across the West Midlands sleep in a safe place every night. Fundraising has been challenging for so many charities this year and it costs St Basils £5 per young person per day to stay at a St Basils project. All donations are very welcome – if you can spare a fiver that’s fab but every penny helps too.
