“It’s ok to say you’re not ok”

Women in Rail West Midlands Region are holding an event in conjunction with Network Rail on building personal resilience and promoting positive mental wellbeing.

A healthy working environment is one that nurtures resilience by empowering and inspiring individuals to discover and maximise their own levels of resilience.

Women in Rail are pleased to be able to hold this interactive workshop to help employees see that there are options in how to deal with issues that test us and provide some methods to help improve our resilience.

Confirmed speakers for the event are:

  1. Mo Hawford – Managing Director of Momentum Training and Development – Mo is a motivational speaker who will be running a personal resilience session to talk about feelings, how they affect us and how we can identify and control them.
  2. Louise Ebrey – Programme Manager, Network Rail – Louise will be talking about stress and anxiety and methods to help deal with these.
  3. Rebecca Bartlett – Scheme Project Manager, Network Rail – Rebecca will share her personal story with us and talk about mindfulness and how it has had an impact on her recovery.
