The Women in Rail Annual Conference will take place on Friday 6th December 2019 in London from 10.30 to 16.30, with registration from 10:00.

This year, the conference will explore the steps businesses can take to ensure a gender balanced, diverse and inclusive workforce in the UK railway industry.

More specifically, we will reiterate the business case for being more inclusive, outline the corporate and personal challenges likely to be faced when seeking to create an inclusive culture and highlight best practice in rail and other industries.

Confirmed speakers at the conference include Rowena Ironside (Chair, Women on Boards UK), Gillian Unsworth (Head of Gender Pay Gap Reporting, Government Equalities Office), Ruth Hannant (Directors General, Department for Transport), William Wilson (Managing Director, Siemens Mobility UK), Mat Baine (Managing Director, CPMS Group), Natasha Zulkifli (Leader of Women in Rail Malaysia), Lynn Tomkins (Chair, Skills 4 UK) and Liz Dimmock (Founder and CEO, Women Ahead (International)).

If you would like to attend the conference, please visit Eventbrite link to register your interest.

Please note there is a delegate fee of £10 to attend the conference. This fee is payable upon registration and will be used to support the charity’s activities; it is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Upon receipt of payment, your seat at the conference will be confirmed.

We look forward to seeing you on the 6th December!
