Allyship & Inclusion – Railway Club & Women in Rail Joint Event
This is a joint event bringing together Women in Rail and The Railway Club Members to discuss the topics of Allyship & Inclusion.
Allyship and inclusion are essential to the long‑term success and sustainability of the UK rail sector. Rail is a complex, safety‑critical industry that relies on collaboration, problem‑solving and a wide range of skills. When teams are diverse, supported, and empowered to contribute openly, they make better decisions, innovate more effectively, and create safer outcomes for both colleagues and passengers.
Active allyship, where individuals use their position to support, advocate for and uplift under‑represented groups, helps remove these barriers and ensures that everyone has equal opportunity to thrive.
Inclusive cultures play a vital role in attracting new talent into the sector, retaining skilled people, and reflecting the diverse communities that rail serves across the UK.
At this event we will hear from leading industry voices about their experiences of Allyship & Inclusion. This will be followed by a panel discussion.
