WR London’s Wellbeing and Resilience Series Part 3: Navigating Blue Monday and a Blueprint for Positive, Lasting Change

The Women in Rail London Committee are delighted to invite you to the third part in the Wellbeing and Resilience Series – Navigating Blue Monday and a Blueprint for Positive, Lasting Change hosted by Wendy McCristal.

Blue Monday is often labelled the “saddest day of the year” — the holidays are behind us, the bills are arriving, and the long stretch of winter can feel heavy. It’s a time when many people experience overwhelm, low mood, pressure, or simply feel the season working against them.

At the same time, we’re bombarded with “quick-fix” plans — join a gym, overhaul your life, start an intense “new year-new you” programme — which can for so many feel unrealistic or add even more pressure, especially if finances are tight or life already feels full.

This uplifting one-hour session offers you a different approach.
We’ll explore the power of small, sustainable habits that create meaningful change without adding to your stress. Together, we’ll walk through five key wellbeing themes designed to support you in moving toward the life you want — without the stuckness, the overwhelm, or the frazzle.

Take this hour for yourself to pause, reset, and build your personalised Winter Wellness Plan for a calmer, more positive start to the year.

Wendy McCristal, MD and experienced woman’s coach from The Mental Wealth Company will be sharing her top tips that helped her rebuild her life after experiencing burnout 8 years ago. Through this engaging, bring a pen and paper session, she will help you to formulate a simple plan (stick it on the fridge????) to get moving in the right direction, so by the time the weather is with us and we’ll getting more sun, we’ll be feeling stronger, more positive and ready to take on all that the year has in store for us.

See you there?
