‘Ever wondered what it would be like to develop, design and deliver a multi-billion-pound transformational rail programme?’

Women in Rail North West are delighted to invite you to this in-person event that will act as a knowledge share on two of our region’s biggest rail Programmes.

The Event

The Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) is a major, multi-billion-pound programme of railway improvements which will bring better journeys to passengers travelling across the Pennines between Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds and York. Whilst Crewe Programme is a £1.6bn portfolio of projects to be delivered over 10+ years. Crewe will become a key transport hub in the Northwest of England, providing connectivity for passenger and freight services linking to the wider vision for the north.

We’ll be joined by our inspiring panel guests who will give you an insight into their roles on the programme, key challenges, opportunities, and words of wisdom.

The event will be compered by Women in Rail Steering Group member, founder of Intuitive Talent Solutions & host of Intuitive Insights podcast, Nina Lockwood.
