Are you working in a frontline rail role and thinking about what comes next?  Join Women in Rail South for a small, focused development experience designed to give you an insight into roles beyond frontline delivery, on board one of the UK’s most specialist trains.

About the experience

This is a unique opportunity to travel on the Network Rail New Measurement Train (NMT), with time to hear directly from the teams behind it and understand how different parts of the railway come together.

Route: Plymouth → Penzance → Plymouth

Date:  Friday 18 September 2026

Departure: Plymouth 09:30

Return: Leave Penzance 13:30
