Join this session to learn more about what active allyship means and looks like. This will be a space to share your positive – or not so positive experiences of allyship, to support your own and other people’s understanding. Learn about how to encourage others to be allies as well as developing your own skills in allyship so you can be part of creating more inclusive workplaces for everyone.

The session will cover the following:

  • What is the concept of allyship?
  • What is active allyship and what does it look like?
  • How can individuals approach conversations using #FlipYourThinking?

Amy Keirl is an Organiser at TSSA responsible for delivering strategy that enables people to build their skills and understanding around allyship. She co-leads TSSA’s Inclusive Rail campaign and leads TSSA’s equality work at Network Rail.
