WOW (Women of the World) is coming to the North East for the first time! Join us at Gala Durham for two days of inspiring talks, performances, and workshops celebrating women, girls, and non-binary people across the region.

Women in Rail Yorkshire & NE Co-Chair Isobel Crockford commented;

“I am delighted to support WOW and represent Women in Rail for a schools focus business breakfast and mentoring session and for the Women in Stem Panel. We’ll explore the role women and girls had in the huge leap forward that the railway presented 200 years ago, and how we can make sure that women and girls are at the centre of the next wave of technological advancement – not just in the region, but right around the world. The panel will take place at 12.15pm – 1.15pm on Saturday 18th October in Cinema 2, Gala Durham. Please come and join us!”
