Women in Rail Yorkshire invite you to our third event of 2019 – Accessibility and the Railway, from 12:15 on Thursday 24th October 2019 at The Queens, City Square, Leeds, LS1 1PJ.

At this event we will discuss best practice on how we can ensure that rail travel is accessible to everyone. We will learn how different people may experience difficulties using the railway and how we can address these, as train operators, station staff, designers and asset owners.

With an opportunity to hear from our Keynote Speaker, Loraine Martins MBE, Director, Diversity & Inclusion at Network Rail, this event is not to be missed. Loraine leads the implementation of diversity and inclusion strategy across Network Rail.

There will be ample opportunity to network and socialise with other Women in Rail Yorkshire members over lunch and coffee, provided by our generous sponsors LNER.

Tickets are required and are free to book, however we do ask for donations on the day to the Women in Rail charity for future events – suggested minimum donation £2.

Please register and share this link with your colleagues/networks.
