Yorkshire – Rail Employability Day
The Rail Employability Day is aimed at years 7-9 and will bring together STEM activities, mock interviews and information on careers available in the rail sector with tours of the Network Rail signalling school, welding school, track layout and operations floor.
The aim of the day is to allow students to embrace STEM and all that a career in rail could offer them prior to them making their GCSE choices.
The event is being hosted by Network Rail and Jacobs and the National College for High Speed Rail will be attending amongst other industry bodies.
