On 26^th May, Women in Rail successfully launched its Yorkshire Regional Group, which will be led by Jennie Pitt from Virgin Trains East Coast.

The launch involved a Self-confidence and Presentation Skills workshop hosted by Funny Women (www.funnywomen.com) where attendees were asked to challenge their inhibitions, embarrassment and self-deprecation by using stand-up comedy techniques, body language and humour.

It was a fantastic afternoon (and evening) and Women in Rail would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Virgin Trains East Coast for sponsoring the workshop and to Funny Women for their fun, enthusiasm and creativity during the day.
