Following the success of The Big Rail Diversity Challenge 2016, we have decided to organize a re-match. The Big Rail Diversity Challenge 2017 will take place on Friday 9th June, from 10am to 4pm at the Peterborough Arena.
The 2016 favourites that will make a reappearance are round 2 of Human Table Football, The Revenge of the Space Hopper and The Great Diversity Bake Off – Second Course!
We have added new challenges including Blindfolded Land Rover Driving, Quad Bike Obstacle Course, Motorised Bathtub Dash, Hovercraft Relay, Bubble Football Match and Crazy Golf.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Vicky Binley from Nimble Media via The Big Rail Diversity Challenge website (http://www.bigraildiversity.co.uk), by phone (0845 1 700 300) or by email (info@bigraildiversity.co.uk).
For those of you who do not know, The Big Rail Diversity Challenge is an all-day event described as a cross between “It’s a Knockout” and “Krypton Factor” where teams comprising 50% men and 50% women go head-to-head in mental and physical challenges.
Last year’s event was attended by over 300 participants from across the railway industry, representing 21 companies (including High Speed 2, Alstom Transport, Knorr Bremse, Hitachi Rail, First Transpennine Express, Network Rail, Crossrail, Govia, Siemens, Amey Rail and Direct Rail Services to name a few).
The Big Rail Diversity Challenge can be used as an opportunity to network, team build and even for corporate entertainment! You can either enter a team (at a cost of £165 per person) and/or sponsor a challenge (at a cost of between £5k and £15k) with discounts offered for bookings signed and confirmed by 1st April. Nimble Media will give you all the information you need if you contact them as set out above.
We hope you will take part in The Big Rail Diversity Challenge 2017 and look forward to seeing you on 9th June!
