The Big Rail Diversity Challenge 2018
IT’S BACK! – The Big Rail Diversity Challenge, now in it’s third year, is taking place on Thursday 7th June at Peterborough Arena, East of England Showground.
The Big Rail Diversity Challenge is a cross between “It’s a Knockout” and “Krypton Factor”; an event created to provide participants with the opportunity to network, team build and fundraise through a series of challenges to showcase men and women performing in roles which are perceived as “non-traditional”. The event is also used to deliver the Women in Rail undertaking by showing that gender diverse teams raise awareness for women working across the rail industry and the business benefit attained when companies improve gender balance.
This action packed Fun Day will see you working together in mixed gender teams to prove the Women in Rail undertaking that that gender-balanced teams really do work better together.
Companies already confirmed include: Railway Industry Association, Network Certification Body, subsidiary company of Network Rail, Siemens – National Training Academy for Rail (NTAR), McGinleys Support Services, Heathrow Express, Young Rail Professionals, VolkerRail, Direct Rail Services, Cross Country Trains, Amey, Angel Trains, RTM, Siemens Rail Automations Ltd, RSSB, Department for Transport, TSP Projects, Bam Nuttall and SNC Lavalin.
